FAQ

How many photographers do you have?
Currently, we have two primary photographers and four secondary photographers. We can accommodate two full day event on the same day or 3-4 smaller events on the same day.

How far in advance do we need to book your services?
Our wedding photography services are based on our photographer(s) availability and is on a first-come first-serve basis. To ensure the best availability for your wedding day, It is recommended to book as soon as a date for your wedding is set.

Is there a deposit involved?
Yes, there is a non-refundable deposit to reserve the date for your photographer(s). This deposit will be applied toward the final balance of the invoice; which is due 2 weeks before your wedding day.

Should we do an engagement session?
The Engagement Session and other pre-wedding photo sessions are perfect ways to get to know and
work with your photographer before your wedding. It is also a good way to get professional, fun, creative pictures taken for your wedding invitation, thank you cards, guest books, or other displays at the wedding ceremony and reception!

Where should we have a photo shoot at?
It depends on what type of images you expect from the photo session. Choose a location that is beautiful or meaningful to you. We have had wonderful results with locations such as Kapiolani Park, Magic Island, Waikiki, Downtown, etc. For more artistic and creative imagery, ask one of our consultants for a recommendation!

Do I get a CD with all the images with a print release?
YES! All of our packages include all of the high-resolution images on a CD/DVD with a print release form. This gives you the freedom to make as many prints as you want at your favorite photo lab.

When should I expect to receive the pictures?
The processing time is generally 1-2 weeks for engagement sessions and 4-6 weeks for a wedding.

Is there an online gallery for my pictures?
Yes, we have an online proofing system that will host all of the images for you to share with your
friends and family. It is a password protected web gallery that will remain active for up to 4 months
after the wedding date.

What kind of album should I get?
We offer a variety of albums to accommodate events of all sizes. We recommend larger albums for full day coverages as they will hold more images. In addition, we offer a variety of parent albums and other fun photo products!

Can I modify the album choice in an existing package?
We have pre-set packages with different albums
depending on the length of photography coverage.
However, it is always possible to upgrade to a larger album or you can choose to go with one of our “lite packages” and use our ala carte menu to order your albums separately.

Is there a discount on additional albums?
YES! Because we manufacture our own albums, we are able to offer our customers a 30% discount on each additional album of the same type1! This is perfect for those wanting to order gift albums for parents or the wedding party.

Will we see the album proof before it is made?
YES! We offer an electronic proofing service for all of our Deluxe Albums. A PDF file of your album will be emailed to you for your approval before it is sent to production. We will be happy to adjust the layout with any changes you may wish to have.

Can we choose our own images to go into the album?
Many of our customers choose to use our “Premium Design Service” where our designer(s)
select the initial images for your album. You will still get a PDF proof of the album and are allowed to make changes to the initial design, but you can also choose your own images if you wish to have full control of your image choice.

What is the turn around time on the album?
The average turn around time for the design of the album is 14 days. The average production time for
the album is 10-14 days after the design is approved.
