Here is a breakdown of the steps:
1. Apply online at https://emrs.ehawaii.gov/emrs
--There's a $65.00 application fee (2021).
--You can apply within one year of your ceremony date.
--You can leave "Name of Performer" blank on your application.
2. Pick up your license within 30 days of your ceremony at the Hawaii Department of Health
--They are located at: 1225 Punchbowl St., Honolulu, HI.
There is a paid parking lot in front of the office.
--Both you and your fiancé need to be present and need valid IDs.

3. Be sure to bring your license to your ceremony and give it to your officiant.
-- If you need your marriage license sooner than 6-8 weeks, you can download a PDF from the Department of Health website or go back to the Department of Health to have them print out an official document.
