Kawaikui Beach Park 

Kawaikui Beach Park is located around 18 minutes (6.5 miles) East of Waikiki, and sits just below the luxurious gated community of Hawaii Loa Ridge Estates (average home value of $4.8M+). This is a great option for people who want both a beach & park setting without traveling too far from Waikiki. 

It has a small beach area with a tropical feel and lots of coconut trees around but in my opinion, the beach isn’t as impressive as other beaches nearby so if beach photos are mostly what you’re after, a stand-alone beach may offer a better backdrop than a beach park. This is a residential beach and can be busy at times so please try to arrive extra early for parking.
