Tracks Beach, Ko Olina / Kapolei

Tracks Beach is located about 50 minutes West of Waikiki (28 miles) or just minutes away from Ko Olina (1.5 miles). The beach is named after the old Hawaiian railway track that once transported sugar cane along the coast of the island. While not in the prettiest area (across from a busy highway and a power plant), the beach itself is very scenic and relatively quiet with turquoise water and the Waianae mountain range in the background. There is a downward slope to the beach so smaller groups tend to work best, but medium to large groups are possible as well. This is a convenient location for both locals and visitors who are on the west side.

Mid to late morning is the best time of day for this location. We generally do not offer evening or sunset sessions here due to high traffic. This location is great for families with small children, couples sessions, or individual portrait sessions.

WARNING!: Make sure to lock your vehicle and remove valuables. Break-ins are unfortunately very common on the west side.
